Understanding the condition

It's hormonal, and it's stoppable

Male-pattern hair loss isn't about shampoo, helmets or bad luck. It's driven by DHT, a by-product of testosterone that gradually shrinks genetically sensitive follicles at the temples and crown.

The good news: it's measurable and treatable. A proper assessment separates pattern loss from stress shedding, thyroid or scalp causes, and the plan follows from there.

Timing matters more than anything. Treatment protects the hair you still have; starting early means there's more of it to keep.

Every year of waiting is hair you can't get back. The men who keep their hair are the ones who started early.

Skin & aesthetics

Dr. Ruangkhao recommended Juvelook as a biostimulator for overall skin quality. After two sessions my skin texture, firmness, and hydration have all improved noticeably. A more natural approach than traditional fillers.

Frequently asked questions

How do I know if it's pattern loss or just shedding?

Pattern loss shows at the temples, crown and part line and progresses slowly; shedding is diffuse and often follows stress, illness or diet changes. A scalp exam and bloods tell them apart reliably.

Do I need an appointment or can I walk in?

Walk-ins are welcome, but booking secures your slot and keeps waiting to a minimum. Same-day appointments are usually available.

Can I start treatment on the first visit?

Often, yes. If the consult confirms male-pattern loss and medication is suitable, you can leave with a prescription the same day. If bloods are needed first, you'll know exactly why.

Do I have to take medication forever?

Medication works for as long as you take it; gains fade over about a year if you stop. That trade-off is exactly what the doctor walks you through before you start.

Is it too late for me?

Usually not. Medication protects and often recovers thinning areas, and a transplant can restore what's fully gone. A quick, confidential visit tells you exactly what's still saveable.
